The Montrail Continental Divide is one of the stiffer trail shoes on the market and is suitable as a trail specific shoe for those getting out on the more rocky, rugged trails.  Great traction thanks to a deeply lugged outsole and one of the more protective trail shoes due to a stiff rock plate that runs through the midsole.  Great shoe for East Sooke Park and the Gowland Todd Range!
