Victoria International Track Classic Recap
Gary Reed winning silver at World ChampionshipsThe Victoria International Track Classic took place last night (June 19th) offering perfect calm, dry conditions for the athletes.  Many athletes were chasing Olympic standards for their country and there were many great performances.  As for the corporate relay, we got stomped by a high school team from Oak Bay! In the final days the race changed from a 'corporate' relay to a 'community relay' and Oak Bay High entered one of their medal winning teams from BC High Schools.  Anyway, they beat us by 2 seconds and our hamstrings all hurt today but we will be back next year ready to win! :) Nick, Shawn and I are off to the Kusam Klimb tomorrow so hopefully we can redeem ourselves up there. For more information check out the website at www.trackclassic.com
