Running is often considered the oldest sport in existence. The desire to travel from point A to point B as fast as possible has been a long-standing challenge for athletes, and remains the primary goal for many recreational and competitive runners.
Frontrunners Westshore run club member Stevan Mandy has been kind enough to lend us his Olympic torch to put on display in our store. He ran with the torch as a part of the cross Canada relay in Qualicum Beach on November 2nd, 2009. Come by the shop and take a look at a part of Canadian Olympic history.
